  is a 2-week SUMmer TRAIning Course in plasma physics and\, in particular\
 , in magnetic confinement fusion devices (tokamaks). It is organised annua
 lly at the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences o
 f the Czech Republic (IPP Prague).\nThe event is open to all students\, fr
 om undergraduate to PhD candidates\nDuring SUMTRAIC\, participants will:\n
 \nGet assign an actual scientific topic: this is an active area of investi
 gation currently being studied by researchers of the IPP\nExperience the d
 aily life of a scientist: data analysis\, experiments\, simulation\, prese
 ntation making\nWork in collaborative group: with one or two other partici
 pants and with supervisors from the IPP team\nPresent their scientific ach
 ievement within a broad audience (~40 people) in English at the closing ce
 remony of the event\n\n \nThe tokamak COMPASS that was in operation at th
