  is a 2-week SUMmer TRAIning Course in plasma physics and\, in particular\
 , in magnetic confinement fusion devices (tokamaks). It is organised annua
 lly at the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences o
 f the Czech Republic (IPP Prague).\nThe event is open to all students\, fr
 om undergraduate to PhD candidates.\nDuring SUMTRAIC\, participants will:\
 n\nGet assigned a real scientific topic: assignments are active areas of r
 esearch currently being investigated by IPP staff\nExperience the daily li
 fe of a scientist: data analysis\, experiments\, simulation\, presentation
  making\nWork in collaborative group: with one or two other participants a
 nd with supervisors from the IPP team\nPresent their scientific achievemen
 t within a broad audience (~40 people) in English at the closing ceremony 
 of the event\n\n \nThe tokamak COMPASS that was in operation at the IPP P
